The weather this winter has been what I would call “Winter wounderland”:) Here are some pictures from Andøya photographed the last week. The three photos taken from a plane, are from last week trip to Bodø. The two first one shows Lofoten from air, and the last one the island Landego, located near Bodø.
Today I had a little work trip to Sortland, and in perfect winter weather, it was almost like driving in a postcard:) Blue sky, white snow and the sun was shining so much that I had to buy sunglasses:) Here are some pictures from road between Andenes and Sortland.

Tonight it was opening of Nordlyst, the winter festival in Andøy. Here are some pictures from the opening ceremony:)
I have been on a day trip to Bodø today, traveling Widerøe. The leg to Bodø startet so early (05.37) that most people will say it night, but the return had take off from Bodø 12.40, and the weather was made for air photos:) The pictures are taken trough a dirty window, but I am quite satisfied with the result. The first picture shows the harbour of Andenes, with the lighthouse and the moles. The other are over the south part of Andøya and shows Risøyhamn, Bjørnskinn and the Bjørnskinn mountain. Down in the left corner you can se the bridge that connect us to the rest of the world:)

It was a great aurora dance last night, but unfortunately most of the northern light were behind the clouds. I went to Bleik, and got this picture of the bird Island Bleiksøya. The weather forecast for the next days are good, so hopefully we get some more nights this week with great arctic light.

Last evening I took a dive in the photoarchive from last summer, and found these pictures from some of my photo walks by the sea. So while the snow and winter are reigns outside, here are some summer pictures that might warm you up:)

February 18, 2010 - 01:52 - Jeg har heller ikke skrevet at de to skogbildene er fra Andøya Terje! De er faktisk fra Arnøya i Skjærvøy kommune i nord Troms:) Så det er nok ikke photoshop, men en lang kjøretur, som er svaret bak skogbildene..
Today has it been really winter on the Island of Andøya. But wind and snow can also be nice weather to capture photos in, so I went down the west coast to Stave on a winter photo trip. Some part of the road had, what I would call snowstorm, and I did only see one meter of the road in front of the car. Here are some of the pictures from the trip:)
On my way out from a interview on Andøya Air Station today, I got some pictures of one of the P-3 Orion maritime patrol aircraft. It was doing some training, and was going down for a touch and go at the airstrip when I took the pictures.
Last weekend I went for a little photo walk on the NATO-quay on the end of one of the mole on Andenes. Here are some of the pictures fra the walk:) On monday was Pål “Moddi” Knutsen´s great debut album Floriography out in the shops. If you haven’t bought it yet, check www.moddi.no for more information about were to buy. This morning Moddi was guest at the morning show on the norwegian tv-canal TV2. On monday will Pål “Moddi” Knutsen´s debut album be out in the shops. On his webpage he write this about the debut release:

I’ve been collecting songs for nearly five years now – no wonder it feels like a relief to finally have some of them fixed and forevered in a real album. I have had the pleasure to hear trough the album a few times, and I´m quite agree with Hamar Dagblad, that gives it a six on the dice.
